Therapeutic coaching
Therapeutic coaching is about working holistically, perhaps looking at deeper layers than a traditional coaching style, and draws on a broad set of tools and techniques. We jointly create a safe and comfortable space where you can choose to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviours and emotions as you move forward. It’s a space without judgment or expectation, where validation is offered and authenticity is encouraged.

Therapeutic coaching includes the tips, tools and strategies of coaching, but there's the flexibility to explore a little bit deeper (if you’re comfortable to do so) to achieve deep change and transformation. Unlike therapy itself we won’t spend a lot of time examining past experiences but it’s an integral part of you and might be very relevant to the changes you want in your future, so I invite that into the coaching space as and when it feels appropriate.
Ultimately, therapeutic coaching is about helping you create new meaning about yourself and the systems and organisations around you. It’s not a ‘one size fits all’ process. It can be about developing confidence, self-esteem, improving emotional regulation or communication skills; whether that's in planning your next career step or understanding where relationships are challenging. It’s about creating a clearer, happier way forward.
I work online, but you don’t have to sit and stare at the screen; you can doodle, use fidget toys, look elsewhere, or be snuggled in a blanket. It's about showing up as you feel most comfortable, and we discuss all that in the first session.
